Trainers Ally and Caitlyn work together to build strength, flexibility, encourage creativity, and build confidence in young aerialists.
Aerial is a form of body movement like no other. Through it, students of the art create beautiful poses, movements, and flows, all while building strength, mobility, and confidence.
Our classes aim to allow kids to explore and trust themselves, help them to discover their power, to learn control and pace by working with their breath, to find freedom in their bodies through flow, and to build awareness and communication skills that will serve them even outside of the aerial studio.
Kids will have the opportunities to:
•Participate in aerial-focused warm ups and conditioning
•Work on learning dynamic poses and flows
•Perform for their peers if they choose to
•Keep an aerial journal to track their thoughts, feelings, and progress
•Work with peers on activities such as exercises, and putting together flows
•Learn about aerial safety and how our rigging system works
Also included:
•DropBox access to photos and videos of your student
•Recitals every 3-6 months (participation is optional)
We pride ourselves on bringing mindful instruction to emerging aerialists, and our top-quality safety equipment.
Classes are held at Misfit Aerial, 2057 Albright Road, Montgomery, IL 60538

I eat, breathe, and dream about aerial! I’m always looking for new ways to expand my education in the aerial arts. I recently trained with the Flying Fantastic in London! When I hear a song I like, I like to imagine how I can dance in the fabrics to it! My current favourite song is Penny For Your Thoughts by Sunni Colón, and I like to add it to my playlists when I teach aerial flow classes.
When I’m not in the studio, I enjoy connecting with my friends and family, and also my community by running my local Buy Nothing group and volunteering. I have two unique and creative children, and two friendly and loveable dogs!
